EDIT AGAIN - just reposting this because i had an error before when i submitted something else and this appeared instead. wanted to be sure this would be ok.

EDIT: I have edited this picture. i smoothed out the edges where her arms meet the dress and so on. i also gave her NAILS...although unless your zoomed in really close, they just look like white dots. i was going for a beige french manicure...yeh.

STILL havent fixed the bg, coz i honestly dont know what to do. any ideas?



After painting this piece, which i am incredibly chuffed with, i have come to the conclusion that tulle should be wiped from the face of the earth. although pretty and, in this case, pink..it is the most horrible fabric to paint. and it has SOOOOOOOO many darn folds. ENDLESS folds. i think i made it look more like satin though, although i didnt mean to. tryed to keep blending to a minimum with it.

and tiara's. i hate painting dots..and dots seem to be the only thing that works for tiaras.

i am really pleased with the face, i really got close and tried to get the eyes and lips perfect.

hands..well..yes. o_O they are better than my last hand attempt.

anyways, this took me three days. would have taken less time, but my four month old likes to boot me in the elbow whilst i'm painting..and then cackles her little butt off when i look at her.
